MY OPINION

Even Nannie figured it out...and she's in her 70's!!! I got this home charged it and hope I wouldn't have to put it to the test of actually using it. Well turns out I didn't need it first, Nannie did. Her phone DIED and she was waiting on a call from the doctors... We all know how doctors are when the call with important information, if they don't get you the first time you play tag trying to call them back. Well I told her to use this cool little power bank to give her phone that extra boost. At first she thought I was speaking alien with a new head spouting from my neck, but once I plugged her in and the phone came to life, it was if I change water into wine. The doctor called ten minutes later, all was good and now Nannie wants a Yellow Power Bank for Christmas. Because Blue clashes with her grey hair.

Personally I think it's great aside from all that. I love that I can charge the bank either from the wall or my computer. I can just toss it in my bag or car and have it ready anytime I need it. I can't count how many times I've needed one. My phone loves to start with a full battery and die within four hours. It's a amazing product and why better than that of what you'd find in Wal-mart's cheap aisle.

This product was supplied to me for an honest review. I have since bought Nannie her own Yellow one as I did really LOVE this product. I ask that everyone form this own opinion and only use mine as a guide. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Power Tek's new Flash headlamp offers the highest brightness you can get out of a compact LED headlamp.

Want a headlamp that is both your bedside reading light and bright running or camping light? Look no further as Power Tek offers unsurpassed value with its comfortable and durable Flash.

My OPINION

Overall Awesome!
This may sound weird, but I actually used my headlamp to cook by. Yep!! I put my headlamp on turn that bright light on and it totally lit up one whole side of my kitchen. Since my wonderful lights decided to take a plunge right during me cooking dinner, what's a girl to do?
The band itself is really soft compared to some I've felt before. I haven't had a need for the flashing red lights, maybe if I decide to go party it up somewhere I'll wear my headlamp and turn them on.
Honestly the lamp has worked great for what I've needed for...5 acres at night I can see the trash bins, my car, across the pond, the mailbox. I even was able to go check what the crazy noise was at 2 in the morning....darn possum!!!!
I might have to replace the batteries if I keep using mine so much, darn battery people need batteries that last longer!!!

I was provide this in exchange for an honest review...this is my opinion, please remember to form your own opinion on anything your choose to venture into :)

Power Tek Fire Talon Multi-tool Pocket Knife Review

Power Tek Fire Talon Multi-tool Pocket Knife

Heavy Duty Multi-Tool With 2 Built-in LED Flashlights - 1 On Each End!

Combo Knife, Spring-loaded Needlenose Pliers w/ Wire Cutters, Wire Strippers, Spring-loaded Scissors
Black Oxide Stainless Steel For Maximum Durability And Maximum Coolness Factor
Built-in Rubber Inlays In Handle For Sure-Grip And Maximum Handling Comfort
Comes with Nylon Sheath; One-year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty

In a perfect world, you'd only have to deal with DIY tasks in well-lit conditions.

But this is far from reality. How many times have you been stuck trying to make a repair in poor lighting? And it never fails... when you need to take care of a repair, the flashlight you keep in your toolbox has mysteriously disappeared.

Even if you locate your flashlight, there's the task of trying to shine the light on your work area with one hand while you make repairs with the other.

But what if you had a solution that required no extra hands... no juggling tools and flashlights trying to get the job done?

Fire Talon is the only solution that gives you a full range of essential tools AND a built-in LED flashlight on both ends to make performing repairs a breeze!

My OPINION

I have many and I MEAN MANY multi-tools, this one however is the first one with a built in light. I really like that. I've had the cheesy one with the flashlight that always breaks, but the push button...pretty sweet!
I really like the over all feel of it. It's got a nice weight to it...not really heavy, but by NO means light at all. I like how easy the tools come out. I'm not having to break a nail or cut into skin to try and get the tools out which is great.
The grip is nice, very easy to hold and work with in one hand. I've dealt with some that slip and are hard to hold so it's a welcome.
On comparison to that of a Gerber, I'd take the Power Tek.

This product wass provided to me in exchange for an honest review. This is MY OPINION of the product and it's performance. As always it's my OPINION, please form your own opinion of any product you use.
Thank you.

MY OPINION
I actually love mine! I was a little bummed when I first got it home because of course as my luck would have it....it was freaking POURING DOWN RAIN!!! So, of course I had to wait until the sun decided to come out to use this awesomeness.

I'm no stranger to portable Solar Chargers. I actually already own the Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Adventure Kit, so I had a lot to compare the two. I was pleasantly surprised. This felt lighter, operates at higher temperatures ( not that I really want to go play out in a desert, but if I had to....) Overall it even charged faster. Which given the price comparison really ticked me off cause this is freaking less than the Goal Zero!

It does make it nice for any BOB or to have in the car. I have bad case of not charging my phone and this was a total life saver when I was kinda stuck shopping with a flat tire and no jack. Don't ask where the jack walked off to I don't have a clue.
I totally recommend this to any one looking for a great portable charger. Great for prepping, hiking/camping or just making sure you keep a charge.

Waves Of Love by Lori Ann Mitchell `Spotlight`

Can love overcome an age difference of more than 10 years?

At thirty-two, Sage Drake has the world by the tail. She owns her own bookstore, in sunny Florida, and loves her work so much she lives in the apartment above the store. Then one day a young surfer strolls in, cadging free coffee and donuts from her little cafĂ©. His name is Derek Chambers, and he’s no regular surfer: he’s an author of a series of surfing travelogues, eager to do a book-signing or two at Sage’s store. She goes him one better by offering to host a series of writing workshops, with Derek as the star. In return, Derek offers to teach Sage – who’s never learned – how to surf. Will the two find love in the waves?

Abigail and the Sahara Adventure Review

This is a wonderful book about a girl named Abigail.
Abigail found a magical bicycle in her grandparents' old house, and this bicycle takes her to the magnificent Sahara Desert.
Who will she meet there? What will she discover?
This beginner reader’s eBook will inspire your kids to be open to new cultures, and be more curious and enthusiastic about exploring various places.
Your kids will enjoy full-color illustrations of Abigail and the desert life.

My Opinion

Sweet and cute is how I'd describe this story. I mean really a magical bike that can take you anywhere you want to go. What a way to spark the imagination of our young readers. It was a wonderful bedtime read. My little reader kept asking a million questions, mainly asking if her grandpa can make her a magical bike. Explaining the functions of that was a chore in itself.
Over all I really enjoy the writings of Tali Carmi and her children's books. I know that her books always have an underlining lesson to come away with. I know that the story is always engaging and the illustrations are bright and unique. Such a wonderful job.

Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg by Tali Carmi

This fun children's picture book is about a boy with red hair and freckles named Terry, yet everybody calls him Terry Treetop because he loves climbing trees.
Terry finds a small egg, and his quest is to bring it back home to its mom.

But where is the egg's home?

Does the egg belong to a turtle on the sand or a crocodile's spring water?
Did it come from a frog in a pond or a chicken in the wild?
Currently a FREE DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!

MY OPINION

I have fallen in love with the Terry Treetop series. They are truly a joy to sit and read to any child. The bright colors that pop off the screen and the way the characters are drawn really capture the child's attend from the beginning.
Then when you start reading it's like they hang on every word you say. They really want to know what is going to happen next. Seeing that in their faces, says how well a children book is written.
Whenever you can take a book and read it to a group of kids and know you haven't lost any of their interests and they beg you to read another Terry book, then it's great!!!!
Although, we did have to have a decision about not climbing the trees and touching eggs with this book. We all can't be Terry ...LOL
