Power Tek Fire Talon Multi-tool Pocket Knife Review

Power Tek Fire Talon Multi-tool Pocket Knife

Heavy Duty Multi-Tool With 2 Built-in LED Flashlights - 1 On Each End!

Combo Knife, Spring-loaded Needlenose Pliers w/ Wire Cutters, Wire Strippers, Spring-loaded Scissors
Black Oxide Stainless Steel For Maximum Durability And Maximum Coolness Factor
Built-in Rubber Inlays In Handle For Sure-Grip And Maximum Handling Comfort
Comes with Nylon Sheath; One-year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty

In a perfect world, you'd only have to deal with DIY tasks in well-lit conditions.

But this is far from reality. How many times have you been stuck trying to make a repair in poor lighting? And it never fails... when you need to take care of a repair, the flashlight you keep in your toolbox has mysteriously disappeared.

Even if you locate your flashlight, there's the task of trying to shine the light on your work area with one hand while you make repairs with the other.

But what if you had a solution that required no extra hands... no juggling tools and flashlights trying to get the job done?

Fire Talon is the only solution that gives you a full range of essential tools AND a built-in LED flashlight on both ends to make performing repairs a breeze!

My OPINION

I have many and I MEAN MANY multi-tools, this one however is the first one with a built in light. I really like that. I've had the cheesy one with the flashlight that always breaks, but the push button...pretty sweet!
I really like the over all feel of it. It's got a nice weight to it...not really heavy, but by NO means light at all. I like how easy the tools come out. I'm not having to break a nail or cut into skin to try and get the tools out which is great.
The grip is nice, very easy to hold and work with in one hand. I've dealt with some that slip and are hard to hold so it's a welcome.
On comparison to that of a Gerber, I'd take the Power Tek.

MY OPINION
I actually love mine! I was a little bummed when I first got it home because of course as my luck would have it....it was freaking POURING DOWN RAIN!!! So, of course I had to wait until the sun decided to come out to use this awesomeness.

I'm no stranger to portable Solar Chargers. I actually already own the Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Adventure Kit, so I had a lot to compare the two. I was pleasantly surprised. This felt lighter, operates at higher temperatures ( not that I really want to go play out in a desert, but if I had to....) Overall it even charged faster. Which given the price comparison really ticked me off cause this is freaking less than the Goal Zero!

It does make it nice for any BOB or to have in the car. I have bad case of not charging my phone and this was a total life saver when I was kinda stuck shopping with a flat tire and no jack. Don't ask where the jack walked off to I don't have a clue.
I totally recommend this to any one looking for a great portable charger. Great for prepping, hiking/camping or just making sure you keep a charge.

Waves Of Love by Lori Ann Mitchell `Spotlight`

Can love overcome an age difference of more than 10 years?

At thirty-two, Sage Drake has the world by the tail. She owns her own bookstore, in sunny Florida, and loves her work so much she lives in the apartment above the store. Then one day a young surfer strolls in, cadging free coffee and donuts from her little cafĂ©. His name is Derek Chambers, and he’s no regular surfer: he’s an author of a series of surfing travelogues, eager to do a book-signing or two at Sage’s store. She goes him one better by offering to host a series of writing workshops, with Derek as the star. In return, Derek offers to teach Sage – who’s never learned – how to surf. Will the two find love in the waves?

Abigail and the Sahara Adventure Review

This is a wonderful book about a girl named Abigail.
Abigail found a magical bicycle in her grandparents' old house, and this bicycle takes her to the magnificent Sahara Desert.
Who will she meet there? What will she discover?
This beginner reader’s eBook will inspire your kids to be open to new cultures, and be more curious and enthusiastic about exploring various places.
Your kids will enjoy full-color illustrations of Abigail and the desert life.

My Opinion

Sweet and cute is how I'd describe this story. I mean really a magical bike that can take you anywhere you want to go. What a way to spark the imagination of our young readers. It was a wonderful bedtime read. My little reader kept asking a million questions, mainly asking if her grandpa can make her a magical bike. Explaining the functions of that was a chore in itself.
Over all I really enjoy the writings of Tali Carmi and her children's books. I know that her books always have an underlining lesson to come away with. I know that the story is always engaging and the illustrations are bright and unique. Such a wonderful job.

Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg by Tali Carmi

This fun children's picture book is about a boy with red hair and freckles named Terry, yet everybody calls him Terry Treetop because he loves climbing trees.
Terry finds a small egg, and his quest is to bring it back home to its mom.

But where is the egg's home?

Does the egg belong to a turtle on the sand or a crocodile's spring water?
Did it come from a frog in a pond or a chicken in the wild?
Currently a FREE DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!

MY OPINION

I have fallen in love with the Terry Treetop series. They are truly a joy to sit and read to any child. The bright colors that pop off the screen and the way the characters are drawn really capture the child's attend from the beginning.
Then when you start reading it's like they hang on every word you say. They really want to know what is going to happen next. Seeing that in their faces, says how well a children book is written.
Whenever you can take a book and read it to a group of kids and know you haven't lost any of their interests and they beg you to read another Terry book, then it's great!!!!
Although, we did have to have a decision about not climbing the trees and touching eggs with this book. We all can't be Terry ...LOL

LED Devil Horns!!!!

Devil Horns - LED Light up Devil Horns - Great for Halloween

Fun light up party accessory; Convenient On/Off switch
Batteries Replaceable

My Opinion

Lights off, Lights on.....I really enjoyed wearing these on Halloween. It was such a joy being my alter-ego.  They are very bright and weren't all that heavy on my head. They aren't cheaply made, I found that out about two hours into our party when a tree and my horns met and one of my horns came off.

I thought great this was going to end the flashing of my horns for the night. However unlike most Devil horns that have wires stuck up through the horns these do not. My horn came off I stuck it right back on and flashed on for the rest of the night.
It's an easy fix no worries. I love that I don't have to throw them out. Even better My horns are still working after the whole night of partying. If they weren't I could replace the batteries and still use them again. This company has thought of all the problems we normally have with the cheaper versions.
Heck I may wear my horns again on Valentine's Day :)
Such a wonderful product.

Premium Quality Glow Stick -Bracelets

Super Glow Stick Bracelets
The best brand of glow sticks on the market. You will receive 1 tube of 100 luminescent light bracelets. Each tube contains of 5 colors -- Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Pink. Your order will also contain 100 connectors so you can hook the ends together to make bracelets and necklaces.
Once they start glowing, The Super Glow brand glow bracelets will last you all night. They will glow super bright for 8 - 10 hours. Then, they will start to fade out but may continue to emit some light for up to 36 hours. These glow bracelets are fresh from the factory.
They were manufactured just a few weeks ago and guaranteed to be fresh when you receive them. Can't use them all in one night? They have a shelf life of 2 years prior to activation.

~My Opinion~

The glow sticks arrived fast. I was actually surprised with the quick shipping, that alone was a plus. All 100 sticks were packaged in a tube. The connectors were in a small bag at the end of the tube. The glow sticks are not any in color order so you have to take them all out if you want to get a certain color. You have enough to make 100 bracelets or 50 necklaces if you combine two together. Out of the 20 that we used so far we have had only one dud, which is awesome compare to another company we have used in the past (with that company we only had 27 good sticks out of 100).
I was personally surprised  not only how bright they actually are, but when I got up in the morning and I'm still saw glow sticks that should be dead, that says a lot about the quality of the glow stick. These glow sticks are a wonderful buy. Perfect for any party and unlike others that claim to be for bracelets, these actually bend perfectly and don't break midway. We have twisted these in to eye glasses, tried to shape them into balls and yet none have busted. All in all great glow sticks. These will definitely be at the top of my list for all my parities.
